The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the Ordinance providing for a 0.25% levy increase on income for the purpose of providing full time police protection within the Village, including officer compensation and retirement, and police equipment including but not limited to police cruisers, uniforms, and a police department building, be passed?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote passes an ordinance raising Navarre's income tax by 0.25% for full-time police protection, officer pay and retirement, and police equipment and building.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the income tax increase.
