An additional tax for the benefit of Paris Township Road District Number One for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $258,597 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 2-mill, 5-year property tax (about $258,597 a year) for roads and bridges in Paris Township Road District Number One.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
