ISSUE: Proposed change in scope/purpose to Income Tax. PURPOSE: Shall the Ordinance allowing funds to be used for the purchase and/or construction of a new fire department building in addition to the previously approved income tax increase for providing and maintaining fire and EMS protection, be passed?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote allows the village's previously approved fire and EMS income tax increase to also fund buying or building a new fire department building.

A “No” vote means

A no vote keeps the income tax's current purpose.
