The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Sugarcreek for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $147,585 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $33 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax (about $147,585 a year) for Sugarcreek's current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
