A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Liberty Township (excluding the Village of Ohio City) for the purpose of fire protection that the county auditor estimates will collect $36,392 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $27 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.4-mill, 3-year property tax for fire protection in Liberty Township outside the Village of Ohio City, estimated to collect $36,392 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
