A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Vinton County for the purpose of providing sufficient funds to carry out the health programs of the Vinton County health district, that the county auditor estimates will collect $457,712 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $26 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year Vinton County property tax for the health programs of the Vinton County health district, estimated to collect $457,712 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
