A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Knox Township for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in municipal corporations, counties, or townships that the county auditor estimates will collect $17,528 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $31 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for Knox Township streets, roads and bridges, estimated to collect $17,528 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
