A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Swan Township for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries that the county auditor estimates will collect $10,213 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $4 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.5-mill, 5-year property tax to maintain and operate Swan Township cemeteries, estimated to collect $10,213 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
