The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Township of Franklin (Excluding the City of Middletown) for the purpose of providing or maintaining senior services or facilities, that the county auditor estimates will collect $143,801 annually, at a rate not exceeding .250 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $5.00 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.25-mill, 5-year property tax for senior services or facilities in Franklin Township (excluding the City of Middletown).
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
On the ballot in Franklin City, Carlisle City, Franklin Township and Springboro City precinct 3-A (the township outside Middletown).
