A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Washington County for the purpose of the operation of a 911 system, that the county auditor estimates will collect $539,124 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.35 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $12 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.35-mill, 5-year county property tax to operate the 911 system, estimated to collect $539,124 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
