An additional tax for the benefit of Washington County Public Library for the purpose of current expenses of the library that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,140,880 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $18 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional 0.5-mill, 10-year property tax for the Washington County Public Library's current expenses, estimated to collect $1,140,880 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
