The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the Charter of the City of Rittman be amended by changing Articles III, IV, VII, XII and XIII. If passed, this amendment would: a. Change the date of the organizational meeting from the first Monday in December of each year to the first regular meeting of each year. b. Change the date that elected officials take office from the first Monday in December of each year to January 1st of each year. c. Change the deadline by which petitions for nomination for elective offices in the Municipality are to be filed with the Board of Elections from 75 to 90 days from the date of the election. Shall Articles III, IV, VII, XII and XIII of the Charter of the City of Rittman be amended?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote moves the organizational meeting to the first regular meeting of the year, starts elected terms January 1, and changes the petition filing deadline from 75 to 90 days.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves those charter articles unchanged.
