A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Wayne County Joint Vocational School District for the purpose of general permanent improvements, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,480,860 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $11 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for five years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.5-mill, 5-year property tax for permanent improvements for the Wayne County Joint Vocational School District.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
