The question, as printed on the ballot

An additional tax for the benefit of Florence Township and Village of Edon for the purpose of maintaining and operating said cemetery pursuant the Edon Union Cemetery that the county auditor estimates will collect $38,498 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $18 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote approves an additional 0.5-mill, 5-year property tax in Florence Township and the Village of Edon to maintain and operate the Edon Union Cemetery, estimated to collect $38,498 a year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the additional levy.

Ballot heading: "Proposed Tax Levy (Additional) Florence Township and Village of Edon". On the Florence 1, 2 and 3 ballots (Florence Township includes the villages of Edon and Blakeslee).
