A renewal of 2 mills and an increase of 0.95 mill for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of the City of Bowling Green for the purpose of providing funds for recreational purposes of Bowling Green City Parks and Recreation that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,868,942 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.95 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $89 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 2 mills and adds 0.95 mill, for a 2.95-mill, 5-year property tax for Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, estimated to collect $1,868,942 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
