A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Wood County Committee on Aging for the purpose of providing or maintaining senior citizen services or facilities that the county auditor estimates will collect $3,730,978 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $23 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax for the Wood County Committee on Aging's senior citizen services or facilities, estimated to collect $3,730,978 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
