Freedom Township fire and ambulance levy (renewal)

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Freedom Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings and sites, payment of permanent, part-time, or volunteer fire fighters, including the payment of the firemen employers contribution required under section 742.34 of the Ohio Revised Code, or to purchase ambulance equipment, or to provide ambulance, paramedic, or other emergency medical services operated by a fire department that the county auditor estimates will collect $207,874 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $66 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
