The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Grand Rapids for the purpose of street construction and reconstruction that the county auditor estimates will collect $32,368 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $44 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for Village of Grand Rapids street construction and reconstruction, estimated to collect $32,368 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
