An additional tax for the benefit of Lake Township Road District for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and road repair of streets, roads, and bridges in the Lake Township Road District that the county auditor estimates will collect $538,188 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 2-mill, 5-year property tax for streets, roads and bridges in the Lake Township Road District, estimated to collect $538,188 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
On the Lake Twp East, North, Latcha and Union ballots (not the Millbury or Walbridge village ballots).
