A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Wood County District Public Library for the purpose of current expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,212,284 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.8 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $18 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 6 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.8-mill, 6-year property tax for the Wood County District Public Library's current expenses, estimated to collect $1,212,284 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
On 69 of Wood County's 149 ballot styles: all Bowling Green precincts and some precincts in Center, Freedom, Jackson, Lake, Liberty, Middleton, Milton, Montgomery, Perry, Perrysburg, Plain, Portage, Troy and Webster townships and the city of Northwood.
