The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Perry Township for the purpose of fire protection, that the county auditor estimates will collect $136,889 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $33 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 3-year property tax for Perry Township fire protection, estimated to collect $136,889 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
