An additional tax for the benefit of Perrysburg Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, equipment, buildings, and sites for such buildings used directly in the operation of the Fire and Emergency Medical Services department, purchase of ambulance equipment and related equipment, and the provisions of ambulance, paramedic and other related cost, for the payment of salaries of permanent or part-time firefighting and emergency medical service personnel, communications, or administrative personnel to operate the same, including the payment of any employer contributions required for such personnel under section 145.48 or 742.33 of the Revised Code that the county auditor estimates will collect $2,158,487 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $123 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
