Shall the Home Rule Charter contained in the report, dated July 20, 2026 of the Government Study Commission, prepared in accordance with the Home Rule Charter and Optional Plans Law, be adopted by the City of Duquesne?

A “Yes” vote means

Adopts the Home Rule Charter proposed by the Government Study Commission (report dated July 20, 2026), changing the City's existing form of government.

A “No” vote means

Keeps the City's present form of Third Class City government under the Pennsylvania Third Class City Code.

A Yes vote means that you are voting to adopt the Proposed Home Rule Charter for the City of Duquesne, which will change the existing form of government. For more information visit https://www.duquesnepa.us/duquesne-news-board. A No vote means you favor retention of the present form of Third Class City Government, under the Pennsylvania Third Class City Code.
