Scott Township: Additional 0.065-Mill Tax for Ambulance and EMT Services

The purpose of the ballot question is to determine whether Scott Township may impose an additional .065 Mill Tax as a special levy on real property located within Scott Township, for the sole purpose of funding ambulance and EMT services within the Township. This would be in addition to a previous 1 Mill tax levy imposed for the same purposes in 2020. The effect of the ballot question would be to authorize the Scott Township Board of Supervisors to impose an additional .065 Mill annual tax on all real property located within Scott Township which would be used solely for the purposes of funding ambulance and other EMT services within the Township. A “YES” vote would indicate that you are in favor of authorizing the Board of Supervisors to impose a .065 Mill increase on all real property located within Scott Township to be used solely to fund ambulance and EMT services within the Township. A “NO” vote would indicate your disapproval of the Board of Supervisors imposing an additional .065 Mill annual tax on all real property within the Township to support ambulance and EMT services.
