Do you favor the imposition of an additional earned income tax at the rate of 0.15% by North Whitehall Township to be used to finance the acquisition of interests in real property to preserve open space?
A “Yes” vote means
Approves an additional 0.15% earned income tax in North Whitehall Township, used to acquire interests in land to preserve open space.
A “No” vote means
Rejects the additional 0.15% earned income tax for open space preservation.
Placed on the ballot by Ordinance No. 2026-4, enacted May 11, 2026 under the state Open Space Act. The ordinance says the tax would stay in effect unless repealed, no earlier than five years after it is imposed.
