Wolf Township: Elect Two Additional Supervisors

The purpose of the ballot question is to determine whether the electors of Wolf Township favor increasing the size of the township’s Board of Supervisors to five members from the current number of three members. Wolf Township would then have five Supervisors instead of three Supervisors. If the question is approved as a result of the number of “Yes” votes being greater than the number of “No” votes, then one additional Supervisor would be elected to a six-year term and one additional Supervisor would be elected to a four-year term on the 2027 municipal ballot in order to effect the increase, in addition to the normal number of Supervisors to be elected in a municipal election year. Thereafter, Supervisors would be elected corresponding to the number of Supervisors whose terms are scheduled to expire on the first Monday of the following January. If the question is not approved as a result of the number of “No” votes being greater than or equal to the number of “Yes” votes, then the number of Supervisors would remain at three.
