Shall Ordinance No. 20260310-1 passed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Brighton, Tennessee on April 14, 2026 and published in the Covington Leader, a newspaper of general circulation in Tipton County, which increases the town's sales tax from 2.25% to 2.75%, except where the sales tax rate is limited or modified by statute, be approved for the purpose of funding additional public safety efforts?

A “Yes” vote means

Approves Brighton's Ordinance No. 20260310-1, raising the town's sales tax from 2.25% to 2.75% (except where state law limits the rate) to fund additional public safety efforts.

A “No” vote means

The ordinance is not approved, and Brighton's sales tax stays at 2.25%.
