Shall the Home Rule Charter of the City of Memphis, Tennessee, be amended to require the Memphis City Council, by ordinance, to create a lobbyist registration and disclosure process to ensure transparency and accountability?
A “Yes” vote means
Amends the Memphis charter to require the City Council to create, by ordinance, a lobbyist registration and disclosure process.
A “No” vote means
The Memphis charter is not amended to require a lobbyist registration and disclosure process.
Memphis voters only. The ballot prints the Director of Finance's certification that the amendment "shall have no impact on the annual revenues and expenditures of the City."
