THIS IS A TAX INCREASE The adoption of a local sales and use tax in Austin County Emergency Services District No. 1 at a rate not to exceed one and one-half percent (1.5%) in any location in the District.
A “Yes” vote means
A "for" vote adopts a local sales and use tax in Austin County ESD No. 1 at a rate of no more than 1.5% in any location in the district.
A “No” vote means
An "against" vote rejects adopting the sales and use tax.
