THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $1.1509 in Skidmore-Tynan ISD for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 8.98% tax revenue under the adopted rate as compared to maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $214,445.43.

A “Yes” vote means

A vote for ratifies Skidmore-Tynan ISD's adopted tax rate of $1.1509, which the ballot says is an 8.98% ($214,445.43) increase in tax revenue.

A “No” vote means

A vote against does not ratify the adopted tax rate.
