Amend the Charter of the City of Killeen to require that any vacancy on the City Council shall be filled by a majority vote of the remaining members of the City Council, allowing for a special election to fill the vacancies should a quorum of the City Council no longer exist, and to make certain other grammatical and technical changes related thereto.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote requires council vacancies to be filled by majority vote of the remaining members, with a special election if the council lacks a quorum.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the charter's vacancy provisions unchanged.
