The question, as printed on the ballot
Amend the Charter of the City of Killeen to prohibit the City Council from adopting any initiated ordinance that is inconsistent with state law or from submitting any such ordinance to the electors, and to make certain other grammatical and technical changes related thereto.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote bars the council from adopting, or submitting to voters, an initiated ordinance inconsistent with state law.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the charter's initiative provisions unchanged.
