"THE TERMINATION OF THE HOLLYWOOD PARK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND ITS ASSOCIATED SALES TAX; AND THE REALLOCATION OF ONE-EIGHTH OF ONE PERCENT SALES AND USE TAX FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO ONE-EIGHTH OF ONE PERCENT SALES AND USE TAX REVENUE FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF MUNICIPAL STREETS. THIS WOULD RESULT IN NO CHANGE IN THE TOTAL SALES TAX RATE."
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ends the Hollywood Park Economic Development Corporation and shifts its 1/8% sales tax to street maintenance and repair, with no change in the total rate.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps the economic development corporation and its sales tax.
