THIS IS A TAX INCREASE "Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.7869 per $100 valuation in San Antonio Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 2.92% in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $5,541,056.00."
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies the $0.7869 per $100 tax rate for the current year, raising maintenance and operations tax revenue 2.92% (an additional $5,541,056).
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not ratify the $0.7869 rate.
