THIS IS A TAX INCREASE "RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF 1.1970 FOR $100 VALUATION IN SOUTH SAN ANTONIO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 14.8 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS ADDITIONAL $2,564,791."

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote ratifies the $1.1970 per $100 tax rate for the current year, raising maintenance and operations tax revenue 14.8% (an additional $2,564,791).

A “No” vote means

A no vote does not ratify the $1.1970 rate.
