THE REAUTHORIZATION OF THE LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX IN THE CITY OF CLIFTON, TEXAS AT THE RATE OF ONE-FOURTH OF ONE PERCENT (0.25%) TO CONTINUE PROVIDING REVENUE FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF MUNICIPAL STREETS. THE TAX EXPIRES ON THE FOURTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DATE OF THIS ELECTION UNLESS THE IMPOSITION OF THE TAX IS REAUTHORIZED.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote reauthorizes Clifton's 0.25% local sales and use tax for maintenance and repair of city streets; it would expire in four years unless reauthorized again.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not reauthorize the 0.25% street maintenance sales tax.
