THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.7725 per $100 valuation in Calhoun County Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 3.37 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $1,520,535.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for ratifies Calhoun County ISD's adopted tax rate of $0.7725 per $100 valuation, a 3.37% ($1,520,535) increase in maintenance and operations tax revenue.
A “No” vote means
A vote against does not ratify the adopted tax rate.
