Shall Article V, Section 28(A) of the City Charter of the City of Brownsville be amended to allow the City Commission to appoint 7 members instead of 5 members to the Audit and Oversight Committee, with each City Commissioner making a nomination for appointment to the Committee when a vacancy exists by virtue of a term-limit, resignation, death, or other incapacity?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote expands the Audit and Oversight Committee from 5 to 7 members, with each commissioner nominating a member when a vacancy occurs.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps the Audit and Oversight Committee at 5 members.
