Shall Article V of the City Charter of the City of Brownsville be amended to add Section 36, Code of Ethics; Ethics Board, requiring the City Commission to create an Ethics Board and adopt conflict of interest and disclosure rules via ordinance through the adoption of an Ethics Code for elected officials, appointed officials, and city employees?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote requires the City Commission to create an Ethics Board and adopt an ethics code with conflict of interest and disclosure rules.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not add the ethics section to the charter.
