THIS IS A TAX INCREASE RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $1.1514 IN GROOM INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 0.3005 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL $5,584

A “Yes” vote means

A vote for ratifies Groom ISD's $1.1514 tax rate for the current year, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations revenue 0.3005 percent ($5,584).

A “No” vote means

A vote against does not ratify the $1.1514 tax rate.
