THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $36,300,000 of bonds by the Childress Independent School District for the purpose of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, modernizing, acquiring and equipping school facilities consisting of a new elementary school, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
Authorizes $36.3 million in Childress ISD bonds for a new elementary school, and taxes to repay them.
A “No” vote means
Childress ISD may not issue the $36.3 million in bonds for a new elementary school.
