THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $9,100,000 of bonds by the Childress Independent School District for the purpose of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, modernizing, acquiring and equipping athletics facilities consisting of a new athletic fieldhouse, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.

A “Yes” vote means

Authorizes $9.1 million in Childress ISD bonds for a new athletic fieldhouse, and taxes to repay them.

A “No” vote means

Childress ISD may not issue the $9.1 million in bonds for a new athletic fieldhouse.
