THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $7,357,000 school building bonds for the construction, acquisition, renovation, improvement, and equipment of school buildings in the District, and levying and imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements.

A “Yes” vote means

A vote for authorizes Morton ISD to issue $7,357,000 in bonds for school buildings and to levy taxes to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A vote against does not authorize the bonds.
