The question, as printed on the ballot
The creation of the Lavon Municipal Development District and the imposition of a sales and use tax at the rate of one-half of one percent (0.50%) for the purpose of financing development projects beneficial to the district.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote creates the Lavon Municipal Development District and a 0.5% sales and use tax in it to finance development projects.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not create the district or the sales tax.
