THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $1.0664 per $100 valuation in the McKinney Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 4.4222 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $9,142,763.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies McKinney ISD's $1.0664 per $100 tax rate, a 4.4222% ($9,142,763) increase in maintenance and operations tax revenue over last year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the adopted tax rate.
