THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of bonds in an amount not to exceed $539,955,000 by the Comal Independent School District for the design, construction, rehabilitation, renovation, expansion, improvement, acquisition, and equipment of school facilities, the necessary sites for school facilities, and the purchase of school buses and vehicles, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes Comal ISD to issue up to $539,955,000 in bonds for school facilities, sites, buses and vehicles, with a tax to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize these bonds.
