THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $0.9639 IN EDEN CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 16.38 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL $333,781.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for ratifies Eden CISD's $0.9639 tax rate, raising maintenance and operations tax revenue 16.38% ($333,781) over the prior year.
A “No” vote means
A vote against rejects ratifying that tax rate.
Eden CISD voters in Menard County vote on it too (Menard County posted a notice of its Eden CISD VATRE election).
