The question, as printed on the ballot
The reauthorization of the local sales and use tax in Copperas Cove at the rate of one-quarter of one percent to continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets. The tax expires on the fourth anniversary of the date of this election unless the imposition of the tax is reauthorized.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote reauthorizes Copperas Cove's 1/4 of 1% sales and use tax for street maintenance and repair; it expires in four years unless reauthorized again.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not reauthorize the street maintenance sales tax.
