THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. THE ISSUANCE OF $10,470,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE: THE CONSTRUCTION, ACQUISITION, RENOVATION, IMPROVEMENT AND EQUIPMENT OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS IN THE DISTRICT AND THE PURCHASE OF SCHOOL BUSES; AND LEVYING AND IMPOSITION OF TAXES SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS AND THE COSTS OF ANY CREDIT AGREEMENTS.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for authorizes Lorenzo ISD to issue $10,470,000 in bonds for school buildings and school buses, with property taxes to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A vote against does not authorize these bonds.
