THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE The issuance of $552,173,783 of bonds for the construction, acquisition, renovation and equipment of school buildings in the District, including equipment used for school safety and security purposes, a new Lively Elementary School, a new T. Haley Elementary School, a new J.O. Davis Elementary School, and a new Travis Middle School, and for the purchase of the necessary sites for school buildings, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds.

A “Yes” vote means

A vote for authorizes Irving ISD to issue $552,173,783 in bonds for school buildings, safety equipment, three new elementary schools and a new middle school, and a tax to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A vote against does not authorize these bonds.
